Brad Sugars: My coach gave me advice I could have got free, and it cost me a fortune
I want to be fair here, because this is a franchise and I know the coach you get is luck of the draw. Mine was not good.
The sessions were generic. Set goals, do more calls, track your numbers. Things I could have read in any business book. When I pushed for something specific to my industry I got told to cold call more. I was paying a serious monthly figure for that.
What bothered me most was how loosely my numbers and my situation were talked about in front of other clients. I had assumed what I shared stayed between us.
Getting out was harder than getting in, and nobody wanted to take responsibility for the fact that a year of coaching had moved nothing.
