Shelley Young: They put my teenager on a sales call about earnings
My child is 17. They came across the marketing online and ended up on a call where earnings potential was discussed with them directly, without me knowing anything about it.
They are not old enough to be signing up to anything like this, and they are exactly the age that this sort of promise lands hardest with. I only found out afterwards.
I raised it and the account of what happened is disputed. I am posting it anyway so other parents know to ask their kids what they are being shown online.
